Tracker Knife Camel Bone

The tracker knife was built for strength and durability in the field. It has a 3½” blade and a 4″ ergonomically curved handle. Six brass rivets and a brass guard fix the handle to the blade. Damascus steel is renowned for its enduring strength and sharpness, along with its unique ’fingerprint’ pattern. The knife is available in Camel Bone, Walnut or Buffalo Horn. Camel Bone makes a fine alternative to ivory. The bone is boiled and cleaned several times before polishing, ready to be carved and fitted to the blade. Walnut wood is dense and tight-grained and polishes to a very smooth finish. The colour ranges from creamy white to deep brown. The Walnut is exclusive to Purdey, and you’ll find the same wood used to make our gun stocks. Buffalo Horn is mostly black but can be brown or variegated on the inside – it’s a dense and solid material suited to grips, slabs and carving.
